Villa in Dubai

The interior design project is based on an interpretation of a typical Arab house: beginning with a sumptuous entrance hall to welcome guests, a long corridor transformed into a mirrored gallery ends with a scenographic glass brick planter wall.

The key elements of the living area are two large, multifunctional storage units that separate the spaces and conceal the structural elements, while the center of the composition is dominated by an imposing square dining table.

The kitchen island is conceived as a sculptural element that dominates the space, a faceted stone deposited in the sea that is meant to be experienced in its three-dimensionality; the kitchen storage units, meanwhile, disappear into the background and become geometric panels.

The choice of finishes is highly refined, with “classic” materials such as Canaletto walnut, marble, and leather expertly blended and enhanced by the use of multiple wall and pendant lamps, even illuminating the ceiling surfaces with spotlights.
